Partial Bedroom Tour

My summer project for this year has been to redecorate my bedroom.  Last year I attempted to do a little bit of revamping, but I was only able to buy a few pieces, which just weren't going together well or were a disaster.

I have been wanting a crisp white bedroom with a bit of colour incorporated, so I decided to use this cream colored bedspread and adding some pops of color.  I know this is not the most ideal color with a small baby, but what can I say, I just love my whites/creams.  I also have an oxy clean spray handy. hehe!

I made countless trips to Home Goods and found these perfect crystal stand lamps.  I have been searching for these lamps literally everywhere! I believe most places do not have these lamps in stock anymore.  So you can guess how excited I was when I spotted these beauties.

Lastly, since I love pink peonies, but don't want to end up purchasing fresh ones every few weeks, I decided to just get this fake arrangement.  Don't they look absolutely lovely?!

I am still playing around with some of the things in the room and I will probably end up adding more as I find new things.  Of course my favourite place is Home Goods, so you can guess that's where most of the decor will be from.

Keep a look out for a post on my dresser/vanity decor and how I am managing to share a bedroom with my daughter.  The latter requires a lot of organisation and creativity, so that my room does not look like a huge mess.

PS- I know that wall clock needs to be changed! haha

OOTD- Blooming Roses

With my daughter Sophia.  (Mashallah)

This outfit has been my recent favorite.  I love the easy going kimono look, which can be paired with any skinny jeans or leggings.  My personal favorite is pairing it with a white skinny jeans.  I have to find quick dressy yet casual outfits because having a 4 month old means I have limited time to dress myself.  My hair was unmanageable on this day.

Kimono- Forever 21
White Skinny Jeans- Express
Bow Sandals- Michael Kors
Bag- Coach

Sophia's Outfit:

What is your go to outfit for the season?
